NASQN's Volunteer Base Continues to Grow

Introducing NASQN’s Newest Subject Matter Expert and Webinar Submission Reviewer, Dr. Elizabeth Garrison, BCBA!
NASQN is thrilled to welcome Elizabeth Garrison, Ph.D., BCBA, as our newest Subject Matter Expert at the ABA Quality Help Desk and the first official member of our newly formed Webinar Review Committee.
Dr. Garrison brings a remarkable blend of scientific innovation, practical experience, and deep dedication to behavior analysis. With a Ph.D. in artificial intelligence and over a decade of experience as a practicing behavior analyst, she stands at the forefront of a new era in ABA—one that merges evidence-based behavioral practice with cutting-edge technology to serve neurodivergent communities.
Her doctoral research focused on the design and implementation of AI-powered systems to help neurodivergent individuals achieve vocational and social goals. Her work has led to the development of intelligent, agentic systems—prototypes that harness NLP, Generative AI, and Computer Vision to increase access, empowerment, and self-determination. This innovative approach aligns will with NASQN’s focus on elevating the quality of ABA services through forward-thinking solutions.
Before her doctoral training, Dr. Garrison designed and led behavior support and vocational training programs across multiple school districts, clinics, and states. Her background in organizational development, UX research, and instructional design has helped shape comprehensive, adaptable training systems for staff and families alike—ensuring that quality isn’t just a goal, but a built-in feature of every intervention.
In her dual role at NASQN, Beth will provide expert guidance at the ABA Quality Help Desk—offering actionable advice on how providers can integrate AI tools and data science principles into their quality assurance strategies. She will also help shape the future of professional development in ABA by reviewing and vetting webinar submissions as part of NASQN’s new Webinar Review Committee, with a special focus on the growing field of AI in behavioral science.
Please join us in welcoming Dr. Elizabeth Garrison to NASQN! Her expertise represents the kind of visionary leadership our network was designed to support—and we are honored to have her help us shape the future of ABA service delivery.
