NASQN's Volunteer Base Continues to Grow

Expanding Our Expertise in OBM, Process Improvement, and Strategic Systems Change
The National ABA Service Quality Network (NASQN) is excited to welcome Kristyn Peterson, Ph.D., BCBA, LSSMBB, as the newest Subject Matter Expert on the ABA Quality Help Desk. With over 15 years in the field of behavior analysis and a distinguished career at the intersection of Organizational Behavior Management (OBM) and process improvement, Dr. Peterson brings a powerful blend of clinical experience, strategic insight, and systems-level thinking to the NASQN network.
Dr. Peterson began her career in ABA in 2009 and earned her Ph.D. in Behavior Analysis from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Over the last five years, she has transitioned full-time into the OBM space, applying behavioral science to improve outcomes for organizations across a wide range of industries—including healthcare, higher education, banking, energy, technology, and more.
In 2021, Dr. Peterson co-founded a consulting company focused on leveraging technology and behavioral science to help organizations transform their systems and achieve lasting change. Her work focuses on leading cross-functional teams through strategic planning, process design, and change management—supporting measurable improvements in efficiency, consistency, and performance.
Her contributions have earned national recognition. She is a two-time recipient of the OBM Network’s Outstanding Applied OBM Intervention Award (2023 and 2024) and is widely respected for her mentorship, supervision, and continuing education offerings to behavior analysts looking to expand into OBM and quality-focused roles.
At NASQN, Dr. Peterson will lend her expertise to ABA professionals seeking guidance on operational systems, organizational alignment, and process-driven quality improvement. Her presence on the ABA Quality Help Desk strengthens our capacity to respond to questions that extend beyond the clinical—into the systems and leadership structures that shape ABA service delivery at scale.
When she’s not leading organizational transformation, Dr. Peterson enjoys the natural beauty of her home in Salt Lake City, Utah, where she’s never far from a national park, a good podcast, or the company of her beloved bulldog, Salami.
We are honored to welcome Dr. Peterson to the NASQN Help Desk team. Her knowledge, dedication, and vision for behavior-analytic systems change make her an invaluable resource to the field—and to the NASQN community.
